Police Constables Gobbel and Blunt have the task of informing a woman's parents that she has died in a car crash on her way home for Christmas. Garson, her mother,  is understandably distraught, but her father, Balthasar, is strangely unaffected by the news. It quickly becomes clear that there has been a serious misunderstanding. Enormous, butch Gronya, meanwhile, is out to expose Balthasar as a paedophile. The play premiered at the Royal Court Theatre, London in 2002.
